Frequently Asked Questions
Hours, pricing, coverage, engine platforms and what to expect when you bring a truck in. If your question is not here, call the shop — we will answer it straight.
Do you offer 24/7 mobile truck repair in Grand Prairie?
Yes. Kasala Truck Service dispatches mobile service trucks 24 hours a day, 7 days a week across Grand Prairie and the wider DFW metroplex. Call our road service line at (817) 875-2641 for breakdowns, air leaks, tire blowouts, jump starts and on-site diagnostics. Our shop at 1840 High Prairie Rd, Ste A is open Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
How much does truck repair cost at Kasala Truck Service?
Cost depends on the fault, the parts and the hours involved, so we diagnose first and quote before we start work. We do not begin a repair without your approval, and we show you the failed component. Customers regularly tell us our pricing is transparent and below dealer rates. Call (972) 790-3838 for an estimate on your specific job.
Do you work on trailers as well as tractors?
Yes. We service dry vans, flatbeds and reefers alongside power units: lighting and wiring, landing gear, doors, floors, air brakes, suspension, kingpins and annual DOT trailer inspections.
Can you perform a DOT annual inspection?
Yes. We perform FMCSA Appendix A annual inspections on trucks and trailers, covering all required categories. If we find a defect, we show it to you and quote the repair before proceeding, so you can leave with a passing inspection the same visit where possible.
Do you service fleets and offer scheduled maintenance?
Yes. We build PM programs around your mileage and hours, keep written service records for each unit, and prioritize fleet customers to reduce downtime. Contact us to set up a fleet account.
What areas do you serve?
Our shop is in Grand Prairie, TX, and we serve the surrounding DFW metroplex including Arlington, Irving, Dallas, Fort Worth, Duncanville, Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Mansfield, Euless, Bedford, Hurst, Grapevine, Coppell and the I-20, I-30 and SH-360 corridors.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. Our team assists customers in both English and Spanish.
Do you delete DPF or emissions systems?
No. Tampering with or removing diesel aftertreatment equipment is a federal violation and will fail a roadside inspection. We repair DPF, DEF and SCR systems properly so they work as designed.
What is your address and how do I get there?
Kasala Truck Service is at 1840 High Prairie Rd, Ste A, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. We are just off SH-161 and minutes from I-30 and SH-360, in the High Prairie Rd industrial corridor.
What are your hours?
The shop is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are closed Sunday for shop work. Mobile road service is dispatched 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including Sundays and holidays.
Which phone number should I call?
Call (972) 790-3838 for shop appointments, quotes, fleet accounts and general questions during business hours. Call (817) 875-2641 for breakdowns and mobile roadside dispatch, answered 24/7.
What engine makes do you work on?
Cummins ISX and X15, Detroit DD13 and DD15, PACCAR MX-13, Volvo D13, International A26 and MaxxForce, Mack MP series, and legacy Caterpillar C-series engines. Call if you are running something unusual and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right shop.
Do you sell tires, or only install them?
Both. We stock name-brand commercial steer, drive and trailer tires and can mount, balance and fit them in the shop, or bring them to you with our 24/7 mobile tire service.
How long will my repair take?
It depends entirely on the job and parts availability. We give you an expected timeline with the quote, and we tell you as soon as anything changes. We would rather give you a realistic ETA than an optimistic one you plan around.
Do you offer towing?
We do not tow in-house. If your unit needs recovery, tell us when you call and we will point you to a heavy-duty towing operator we trust, then take the truck in when it arrives.
Can you help me pass a DOT roadside inspection?
Yes. A pre-trip style inspection before you run is the cheapest insurance there is. We check the items inspectors actually write up: brake adjustment, air leaks, lighting, tires, and steering and suspension components.
Do you work on reefer units?
We handle the trailer chassis, brakes, tires, electrical and structural side of reefer trailers. For the refrigeration unit itself, we will refer you to a reefer specialist.
What payment methods do you accept?
Contact the shop at (972) 790-3838 to confirm current accepted payment methods and to discuss billing arrangements for fleet accounts.
